At your local boutique Pilates Insight Studio we offer you a variety of classes to suit your individual needs and budget from small group mat classes to private sessions and more.

Specialized Pilates Mat Classes at Pilates Insight Studio

You can book online and either pay for a casual attendance ($23/class) or for a 10 week package ($200). When paying for 10 week package you must use the sessions within 10 weeks. Booking all classes in advance is recommended if you want to guarantee a spot in your preferred class.


Mat class with small apparatus
Description: The use of small apparatus will add resistance to increase the challenge and help you tone, strengthen and lengthen your entire body. The number of participants is limited to 8. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a towel and clean socks.

Pilates Mat class – Classical intermediate level
Description: Take your Pilates knowledge to the next level with this fun Pilates mat class. The intermediate repertoire will be performed with fluidity and little modifications. This class is geared towards those experienced beginners and intermediate participants. The number of participants is limited to 8. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Mat class all levels
Description: From basic to advanced repertoire, we will give modifications to suit all levels and abilities. Feel the progress every class and be encouraged by trying the next level of all exercises. The number of participants is limited to 8. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a towel and clean socks.

Mums and bubs
Description: This post-natal class is geared to women who recently had a baby and want to get back to their pre-pregnancy shape. Focus on pelvic floor muscles, safe return to exercise, improved posture and correct lifting and handling of baby. The number of participants is limited to 6. Babies must be younger than 6 months. No pram access. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a towel and clean socks.
Note: You must have had your 6 week post-natal check up and been cleared by your doctor to start exercising.

Courses

Pilates Pre-natal (ball and mat)
Description: Pre-natal Pilates is geared towards pregnant women during any stage of pregnancy. Pregnant instructor, Marcia Shapira will guide you to adjust your posture during exercises, while preparing your pelvic floor and core muscles for the big changes in your body. Class will offer modification of exercises using a Swiss ball and mat to suit all stages of pregnancy. The number of participants is limited to 5. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a towel.

Pilates for back care
Description: This class will teach you the Pilates Fundamentals and how to safely apply them to modified exercises. Learn about your posture and how to care for your back. You will strengthen your core muscles and improve functional stability. This class uses a number of small apparatus and is geared for those who have a history of spinal issues and have been cleared by the doctor to exercise. Not suitable for people with acute and undiagnosed back pain.  The number of participants is limited to 8. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a clean towel and socks.
